Seminar Materials and Hours
Onsite check-in will begin at 8:00a.m. on Wednesday, June 24. Instruction will run from 8:30a.m. – 4:30p.m. and will be conducted using ZOOM as the interactive learning platform. There is no exam associated with this CE offering, but there is a pre-seminar assignment (see below). Beginning 4 weeks prior to the offering, all students will have access to the downloadable seminar materials. If you would like hardcopy (printed) materials sent to you in advance, both a print fee of $15 and a shipping fee (TBD) apply. [Note: Shipping fee is calculated at the time of online check-out.]
All registrants must complete the pre-seminar assignment before the seminar begins. Visit your individual Education and Events page after registering.
Required Texts / Materials
There are no additional required texts or materials for this offering other than the seminar materials referenced above.
Those relying on downloadable materials, are strongly encouraged to pre-download these documents or perhaps view them on a secondary devise during the virtual presentation.
This class will be held via Interactive Technology (ZOOM). It is the student's responsibility to have the required equipment - Internet access, computer, webcam and microphone. Some registrants will find a secondary device (ipad, phone, laptop or desktop computer) helpful during instruction.
Education Credit Hours and Attendance Verifications
Those who check into the interactive platform late, leave early or leave during non-scheduled breaks may jeopardize receipt of credit.
Appraisal Institute: Full attendance (100%) enables Designated Members and Practicing Affiliates to receive 35 AI CEC points.
BREA Continuing: Rural Valuation Basics has been approved by the California BREA for 7-hours (#18CP754601342) of CEC. Licensed/certified appraisers seeking BREA CEC must meet the 100% attendance requirement. [Note: This particular offering is based on the "live" version that falls under the temporary exemption for virtual / online education due to COVID / SIP restrictions.]
BREA Basic/Qualifying: Rural Valuation Basics is not approved for BREA qualifying education (QE) credit.
If you are seeking credit for this offering from a state outside of California, check with your state licensing board(s) to make sure an out-of-state virtual offering will be accepted before registering.

Note: Effective 10/01/19 students will be able to access their attendance certificates 24/7 through the Appraisal Institute's netFORUM association management program. The Northern California Chapter does not have direct access to certificates for programs held after this time. Written cancellations received by Wednesday, June 10, are subject to a $45 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after that time but prior to noon on Wednesday, June 17, are subject to a $65 cancellation fee. No refunds for cancellations received after June 17 or for course "no shows".
