Program Hours, Photo IDs and Materials
Online check-in will begin at 8:00am on Monday, February 7. Instruction
will run from 8:30am - 4:30pm (Pacific Time). The early check-in time provides
an opportunity to check your equipment and network with other attendees. There
is no exam associated with this CE offering. Be sure to review the pre-class memo (see below). Materials are available for download from your Appraisal Institute
"MyAccount" portal or hardcopies can be selected at the time of
registration and sent in advance (additional fees apply; ability to ship
depends on when the registration is received).
Photo ID Required

Required Equipment: Computers and Calculators
This class will be held via Interactive Technology (ZOOM). It is the
student's responsibility to have the required equipment: Dependable Internet
access, computer with webcam, speakers and microphone. Some
registrants may find a secondary device (ipad, phone, laptop or
desktop computer) helpful during instruction. Cell phones are best used
only as a secondary rather than primary viewing device. Only one student

is required. The accepted model used in the program is the HP-12C. AI education
programs that require a financial calculator are developed with HP-12C
keystrokes; using this model is highly recommended.
· You must be familiar
with calculator operation when the program begins. Do not enroll expecting to
be taught how to use a financial calculator.

Education Credit Hours and Attendance
Those who check into the interactive platform
late, leave early or leave during non-scheduled breaks may jeopardize
receipt of credit. Webcams must remain on throughout the offering.
Appraisal Institute: Full attendance (100%) enables Designated
Members and Practicing Affiliates to receive 75 AI CEC
BREA Continuing: Evaluating Commercial Leases is
approved for 7-hours of California BREA CEC (#18CP754601317).
Licensed/certified appraisers seeking BREA CEC must meet the 100% attendance
requirement. [Note: This particular offering is based on the
"live" version that falls under the temporary exemption for virtual
classroom education due to COVID / SIP restrictions.]
BREA Basic/Qualifying: Evaluating Commercial Leases is
not approved for BREA qualifying education (QE) credit.
State Board of Equalization: Evaluating Commercial Leases is approved for 7-hours of SBE training credit for assessors

Northern California Chapter does not have direct access to

Important Information about SBE Certificates: SBE certificates will be manually
generated and emailed directly from the Northern California Chapter; allow
15-working days from the offering date for receipt.
