IT IS THE STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE THE REQUIRED TECHNOLOGY TO PARTICIPATE AND RECEIVE CREDIT. If you have a Lenovo laptop, some students have noticed that they need the Lenovo Vantage App installed on their computer for the webcam to function.The platform will be interactive and live. The instructor must be able to see and interact with all students and students must be able see and interact with the instructor. 24 hours prior to class, students will receive a separate email from the Chapter Office with log-in/access information. CONTINUING EDUCATION & STATE APPROVALS (Virtual Live Classroom):

ATTENDANCE POLICY:

To receive credit, 100% attendance is required for all Appraisal Institute education programs. Students should not be late or leave early; if they are late or leave early, they will not receive credit. The Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board requires 100% attendance of the classroom time. Partial credit is not awarded.


  •  attendance will be monitored throughout the day
  •  students are required to be visible on the virtual platform during the entirety of the course
  • instructor will direct questions to each student in the morning and afternoon

 

Important: Please have your photo ID ready at the start of class. To expedite check-in, we will view all attendees’ IDs at the same time and take a screenshot. We recommend covering all information on your ID except your full name and photo.  (Try tape, a sticky note, or your finger to cover.)

Enrollment Cancellation Policy:

  • If a student wishes to cancel enrollment, a cancellation notice must be submitted in writing via email stating the reason for the cancellation, and your AI account #, to sbrockway@aiatlanta.org.

 

Enrollment Cancellation Fees:

 

  • Up to 15 days prior to the program start date, $25 cancel fee
  • 3-14 days prior to the program start date, $50 cancel fee
  • Less than 3 days prior to the program start date, no refund will be provided
