THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD VIA INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL CLASSROOM TECHNOLOGY. STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A RELIABLE INTERNET CONNECTION, COMPUTER (OR TABLET), WEB CAMERA, AUDIO, AND MICROPHONE. IT IS THE STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE THE REQUIRED TECHNOLOGY TO PARTICIPATE AND RECEIVE CREDIT.

Notes

Tuition does not include a copy of the 2020/2021 USPAP document, which is required for course credit. Attendees must bring their own copy of the 2020/2021 USPAP to class. Experiences

Unless otherwise noted, the course price does not include a copy of the current USPAP edition, which is required for course credit. When the chapter does not include, participants must bring their own copy of the USPAP edition to class.

COURSE LOCATION:

THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD VIA ZOOM INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL CLASSROOM TECHNOLOGY. 


Virtual Classroom-Live/Interactive Participation Guidelines: Students must have reliable internet connectivity, computer (or tablet), web camera, audio, and microphone to participate and receive continuing education credit.  If you have a Lenovo laptop, some students have noticed that they need the Lenovo Vantage App installed on their computer for the webcam to operate.The platform will be interactive and live. The instructor must be able to  see and interact with all students and students must be able see and interact with the instructor. You will receive a separate email from the Chapter Office with log-in/access information. 30 minute lunch break at 12 noon

 

ATTENDANCE POLICY:

To receive credit, 100% attendance is required for all Appraisal Institute education programs. Students should not be late or leave early; if they are late or leave early, they will not receive credit. The Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board requires 100% attendance of the classroom time. Partial credit is not awarded.


  •  attendance will be monitored throughout the day
  •  students are required to be visible on the virtual platform during the entirety of the course
  • instructor will direct questions to each student in the morning and afternoon

 

Important: Please have your photo ID ready at the start of class. To expedite check-in, we will view all attendees’ IDs at the same time and take a screenshot. We recommend covering all information on your ID except your full name and photo.  (Try tape, a sticky note, or your finger to cover.)



STATE APPROVAL:

The following states have approved CE credit for this virtual offering of USPAP:  AR, FL, GA, SC, and TN. It is imperative that you check with your state regulatory board(s) for approval information before completing registration.  Refer to this PAGE for details of live stream state approvals. Note, it is the student's responsibility to verify their state(s)' approval of this live stream virtual method of delivery. CONTINUING EDUCATION:  (Virtual Live Stream Classroom)

The Appraisal Institute, Arkansas Real Estate Appraisers Board, Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board, Florida Real Estate Appraisers Board, South Carolina Appraisers Board, and the Tennessee Real Estate Appraisers Board, have approved 7 hours continuing education credit for this live stream virtual classroom offering. 100% attendance is required for credit and will be monitored throughout the day.

Enrollment Cancellation Policy:
If a student wishes to cancel enrollment, a cancellation notice must be submitted in writing via email stating the reason for the cancellation, and your AI account #,  to sbrockway@aiatlanta.org.

Enrollment Cancellation Fees:
Up to 15 days prior to the program start date, $25 cancel fee
3-14 days prior to the program start date, $50 cancel fee
Less than 3 days prior to the program start date, no refund will be provided

Please note that not all states have approved Virtual education, therefore, registrants MUST CHECK their individual states for approval BEFORE registering for the Program. Before registering for the Program, registrants understand and agree that continuing education credit for this program MAY NOT be available in their state on the date of the Program. The Appraisal Institute is not responsible if credit is not available for the Program in individual states. Please note: State exceptions for virtual education may expire PRIOR to the offering date.
