Economic Views: Looking Ahead to 2020?

Each week, we see a new economic data set or analysis that says, "the sky is falling" followed by one that says,"no it's not!" For example, in contrast to reports and indexes from national real estate associations and data companies, economist Dr. Robert Shiller recently warned of another looming housing crisis. One national report shows CMBS credit metrics in good shape, but volume down. At the same time, commercial real estate lending is elevated again just as rising construction costs threaten to undermine construction loans. In addition, the FDIC just released their latest bank report showing record net income and declining problem banks, while the Federal Reserve Board is cutting rates as Cap Rates remain stable. In the meantime, ADP and LinkedIn jobs reports are more bullish than the latest BLS jobs reports. So what exactly is going on? Join this webinar to get the whole picture directly from some of the most respected economists in the property industry and see what kinds of economic clouds are on the horizon – innocuous cirrus or more threatening cumulus?
