Notes

This is a 7-Hour Course with two (2) required books; the  2020-2021, 7 Hour USPAP Student Handbook and the 2020-2021 Uniform Standards for Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP book). The chapter has a small amount of copies of the USPAP book to sell for $75 or you can purchase a download copy from the Appraisal Foundation, www.appraisalfoundation.org.


Please keep in mind that you need to choose materials at registration to get a hard copy of the student handbook, otherwise you will only receive the download version. The chapter will not have student handbooks for sale.

Class will be held from 8:30 am to approximately 4:30 pm with a one-hour lunch break and breaks throughout the class. For virtual class you will be able to sign in by 8:00 am to check your webcam and mic to meet virtual education requirements.

Unless otherwise noted, the course price does not include a copy of the current USPAP edition, which is required for course credit. When the chapter does not include, participants must bring their own copy of the USPAP edition to class.

Cancellation Policy

If a student wishes to cancel enrollment, a cancellation notice must be submitted in writing via email stating the reason for the cancellation to Debra Miller at metronj@ai-newjersey.org. 

For classroom courses: Up to 5 days prior to the program start date, $25 -$50 cancel fee depending on the program and

Less than 5 days prior to the program start date, no refund will be provided.

For virtual courses: Up to  1 day prior to the program start date, $10 - $50 cancel fee depending on the program and

Less than 1 day prior to the program start date, no refund will be provided.

Additional Information

You will receive a Zoom link for the course 1 week before the course date. 

Virtual Meeting Participation Guidelines:

Students must have webcam/iphone/ipad/smartphone capability to participate and receive continuing education credit. The platform will be interactive and live. The instructor must be able to physically see and interact with all students and students must be able see and interact with the instructor.

 A copy of your driver's license must be emailed to the Chapter office as verification after you have registered for the offering prior to the offering start date.

 ZOOM access link will be emailed to student prior to the offering in separate email from registration confirmation.

 You do not need a paid account from ZOOM to participate.

 If you are using your Ipad/Iphone/smartphone please download the ZOOM app prior to offering.

 Please check your webcam privacy settings on your computer.

If you have a Lenovo laptop, you must have the Lenovo Vantage App installed on your computer for webcam to work.

Check state approvals before registering to make sure the states you are licensed have approved the course/seminar and allow Virtual education in place of classroom education during the pandemic.

Disclaimer Information

The chapter reserves the right to change class dates, location, and instructor if necessary, especially during the pandemic. If this is a Virtual Class, you must be able to meet the Virtual Education audio-video requirements to get credit for this course.

State Credit

Please note that 100% attendance is required in order to receive any approved state credit or to be awarded AI CE points. It is imperative that you check with your state board for state approval information before completing registration.
