This 7-hour update
course, copyrighted by The Appraisal Foundation, focuses on recent changes to
USPAP requirements for ethical behavior and competent performance by
appraisers. The course, which clarifies several commonly misunderstood aspects
of USPAP, will aid participants in all areas of appraisal practice seeking
updated competency in USPAP, including those subject to state licensing or
certification and continuing education requirements imposed by professional
organizations, client groups, or employers.
NOTE: Appraisers must
successfully complete the 7-Hour National USPAP Update Course every
2 years to meet the USPAP continuing education requirement.
CLASS MATERIALS:
- Students
are responsible for obtaining the NEW 2022-23 7-Hour National USPAP Update
Student Manual & the NEW 2022 USPAP Reference Manual. Both can be
purchased here: https://www.appraisalfoundation.org/imis/TAF/store/TAF/Products.aspx
- Students
are responsible for downloading or obtaining hard copies of the class
materials. If downloading, please download before the class. Materials can be found in your Appraisal Institute account.

North Carolina Chapter of the Appraisal Institute (NCAI) is not responsible for
students' non-refundable airline reservations or other travel costs.

CE Credit Approval: NC Appraisal Board Approved for 7 Hours
*Students seeking CE credit for this course from a state other than North Carolina are responsible for confirming with that state’s licensing board that this course will be accepted. The North Carolina Chapter recommends students check before registering*
PHOTO ID REQUIRED: Students will need to send a photo (ex: driver license photo) to executive.director@ncappraisalinstitute.org after registering. Our instructor will be verifying photo identification of students during roll call at the beginning and throughout the class. This is a requirement, and you will not receive credit if we do not have a photo to verify your identification with.
VIDEO/AUDIO REQUIRED: Our instructor must be able to see/hear you and you must be able to see/hear the instructor. Video must remain on throughout the entire class. Zoom Meeting allows student/instructor interaction through video/audio and the chat function. This is a requirement, and you will not receive credit if you do not have video/audio capabilities to see/hear the instructor/allow the instructor to see/hear you.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Internet Access, Computer with Webcam/Camera, Microphone and Speakers.

Virtual Education Exception
Please note that not all states have approved Virtual education, therefore, registrants MUST CHECK their individual states for approval BEFORE registering for the Program. Before registering for the Program, registrants understand and agree that continuing education credit for this program MAY NOT be available in their state on the date of the Program. The Appraisal Institute is not responsible if credit is not available for the Program in individual states. Please note: State exceptions for virtual education may expire PRIOR to the offering date.
State Credit
Please note that 100% attendance is required in order to receive any approved state credit or to be awarded AI CE points. It is imperative that you check with your state board for state approval information before completing registration.
