This class will be held by Zoom, a virtual interactive classroom technology.  Students are required to have a computer, webcam and microphone.  It is the student's responsibility to have the required equipment to participate and receive continuing education credit.  Go to for new user tutorials.

Virtual classroom guidelines:

·       Students must have a reliable internet connection, computer (or tablet), webcam and audio (speaker and microphone) capabilities to participate and receive continuing education credit.  

·       The instructor must be able to physically see and interact with all students and students must be able to interact with the instructor.  Your webcam must be kept on at all times.  Attendance will be monitored throughout the class session.

·       A copy of your driver’s license must be emailed to the Chapter Office as verification after you have registered and prior to the start date.

·       You will receive a separate email from the chapter office with log-in access information one day before the seminar.  

·       A paid Zoom account is not required to participate; however, you need to sign up for the free basic Zoom account/ application ( and install the app prior to the seminar start date.

Class Material:  Seminar material is provided to ALL students via a download option. Please have your computer/reader available with the downloaded material or have a printed copy of the material with you. If you would like to receive a printed copy of the seminar material, you will have an option during the registration process to order a set of materials.  **Students requesting printed material will be charged a $15.00 material fee plus shipping in addition to the seminar tuition. (Note that If you do not receive the material shipment in time for the seminar, please download or print a copy of the material from the Education and Events section of your AI account.)

Course Attendance: 100% attendance is required for all Appraisal Institute education programs. This follows Appraiser Qualification Board minimum criteria requirements

·       attendance will be monitored throughout the day, via webcam and chat roll call

·       students are required to be visible on the virtual platform during the entirety of the seminar

·       instructor may direct questions to each student during the seminar

Important: Please have your photo ID ready at the start of class. To expedite check-in, we will view all attendees’ IDs at the same time and take a screenshot. We recommend covering all information on your ID except your full name and photo.  (Try tape, a sticky note, or your finger to cover.)


It is important to note that the AI educational programs that may be offered by virtual delivery *ARE NOT* approved in every state. Some states DO NOT allow virtual education. ALL participants MUST check state approvals prior to registering for any chapter offered Appraisal Institute program.

The definition of “Virtual” delivery format is the temporary exception (beginning 3/15/2020 until 12/31/2020) allowing previously approved classroom CE to be offered on a web platform, without additional submission or acceptance from the International Distance Education Certification Center (IDECC).

Cancellations/Refunds: Requests for cancellations must be received in writing at the Chapter office. Confirmed students should not assume that cancellation has been granted until a confirmation has been received.  Cancellation days are BUSINESS DAYS.

Cancel Fees
Up to 15 days prior to program start date, $15 cancellation fee.
2 - 14 days prior to program start date, $25.00 cancellation fee.
Less than 2 days prior to program start date, forfeit of payment.
