Cancellations

Written cancellations received by Tuesday, April 13, are subject to a $15 cancellation fee.  Cancellations received after that time but prior to noon on Tuesday, April 20, are subject to a $35 cancellation fee.  No refunds for cancellations received after April 20 or for program "no shows".  Cancellations can be emailed to lisa@norcal-ai.org.

We reserve the right to substitute instructors, or to cancel or modify this program if sufficient registrations are not received by March 26 or due to other circumstances beyond our control. In the event of cancellation, tuition fees will be refunded. All other costs incurred are the registrant’s responsibility.

Seminar Hours and Materials
Online check-in will begin at 12:00m Pacific Time) on Tuesday, April 27.  The early check-in allows students an opportunity to test their equipment as well as network with other attendees.  Instruction will run from 12:30pm – 4:30pm (Pacific Time) and will be conducted using ZOOM as the interactive learning platform.  There is no exam associated with this CE offering.

Required Equipment 
This class will be held via Interactive Technology (ZOOM).  It is the student's responsibility to have the required equipment - Internet access, computer, webcam and microphone.  Some registrants may find a secondary device (ipad, phone, laptop or desktop computer) helpful during instruction to view pre-downloaded materials.

  • A financial calculator is required. The accepted model used in the program is the HP-12C. AI education programs that require a financial calculator are developed with HP-12C keystrokes; using this model is highly recommended.
  • You must be familiar with calculator operation when the program begins. Do not enroll expecting to be taught how to use a financial calculator.

Education Credit Hours and Attendance Verifications

Those who check into the interactive platform late, leave early, leave during non-scheduled breaks or simply "disappear from view" may jeopardize receipt of credit.  Webcams must remain "on" and registrants must remain visible throughout the scheduled instructional periods.  Only one registrant per webcam; webcams cannot be shared.

Appraisal Institute: Full attendance (100%) enables Designated Members and Practicing Affiliates to receive 20 AI CEC points.  

BREA Continuing: Litigation Appraising for Residential Appraisers has been approved by the California  BREA for 4-hours (#13CP754601059of CEC. Licensed/certified appraisers seeking BREA CEC must meet the 100% attendance requirement. [ Note:  This particular offering is based on the "live" version that falls under the temporary exemption for virtual / online education due to COVID / SIP restrictions.]

BREA Basic/Qualifying: Litigation Appraising for Residential Appraisers is not approved for BREA qualifying education (QE) credit.
