THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD VIA ZOOM INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL CLASSROOM TECHNOLOGY. STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A WEBCAM AND MICROPHONE. NOTE THAT MANY LAPTOPS HAVE THIS BUILT IN. IT IS THE STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE THE REQUIRED EQUIPMENT TO PARTICIPATE AND RECEIVE CREDIT.

Experiences

Unless otherwise noted, the course price does not include a copy of the current USPAP edition, which is required for course credit. When the chapter does not include, participants must bring their own copy of the USPAP edition to class.

Additional Information

Virtual Classroom-Live/Interactive Participation Guidelines: Students must have webcam and microphone capability to participate and receive continuing education credit. The platform will be interactive and live. The instructor must be able to physically see and interact with all students and students must be able see and interact with the instructor. A copy of your driver's license must be emailed to the Chapter office as verification after you have registered for the offering prior to the offering start date. You will receive a separate email from the Chapter Office with log-in/access information. USPAP BOOK

Tuition does not include a copy of the 2020/2021 USPAP document, which is required for course credit. Attendees must bring their own copy of the 2020/2021 USPAP to class.  Note that South Carolina classified appraisers may download the 2020/2021 USPAP manual from SCLLR website. It is recommended that you purchase a printed copy of the student handbook upon your registration check out. Students tend to prefer a printed copy of both the student handbook and the USPAP book.I


INFORMATION FROM THE INSTRUCTOR:

- attendance will be checked throughout the day

- students are required to hold up photo ID when the instructor calls the student's name, at the beginning of the course

- students are required to be visible on Zoom during the entirety of the course

- instructor will direct questions to each student in the morning and afternoon

ATTENDANCE POLICY:

To receive AI and State credit, 100% attendance is required for all Appraisal Institute education programs.

If the program is filled, e-mail sbrockway@aiatlanta.org to be placed on a waiting list.  The South Carolina Chapter of the Appraisal Institute is not responsible for students' non-refundable airline reservations, lodging, or other expenses incurred by the participant.  If you have a disability and require accommodation, please notify the South Carolina Chapter office at least two weeks in advance.  We will arrange for reasonable accommodation.

 

Enrollment Cancellation Policy:

If a student wishes to cancel enrollment, a cancellation notice must be submitted in writing via email stating the reason for the cancellation and your AI account number to sbrockway@aiatlanta.org.

 

Enrollment Cancellation Fees:

·         Up to 15 days prior to the program start date, $25 cancel fee

·         3-14 days prior to the program start date, $50 cancel fee

·         Less than 3 days prior to the program start date, no refund will be provided
