Experiences

Unless otherwise noted, the course price does not include a copy of the current USPAP edition, which is required for course credit. When the chapter does not include, participants must bring their own copy of the USPAP edition to class.

Tuition does not include a copy of the 2020/2021 USPAP document, which is required for course credit. Attendees must bring their own copy of the 2020/2021 USPAP to class.  Note that South Carolina classified appraisers may download the 2020/2021 USPAP manual from SCLLR website. It is recommended that you purchase a printed copy of the student handbook upon your registration check out. Students tend to prefer a printed copy of both the student handbook and the USPAP book.I

Virtual Classroom-Live/Interactive Participant Guidelines: Students must have computer, webcam, and microphone capability to participate and receive continuing education credit. The platform will be interactive and live. The instructor must be able to physically see and interact with all students and students must be able see and interact with the instructor. If you have a Lenovo laptop, you must have the Lenovo Vantage App installed on your computer for the webcam to operate.  A copy of your driver's license must be emailed to the Chapter office as verification after you have registered for the offering prior to the offering start date. You will receive a separate email from the Chapter Office with log-in/access information.

ATTENDANCE POLICY:

To receive AI and State credit, 100% attendance is required for all Appraisal Institute education programs.

 

 

·        attendance will be monitored throughout the day

·        students are required to email a photo ID to Suzanne Brockway at sbrockway@aiatlanta.org upon registration.

·        students are required to be visible on the virtual platform during the entirety of the course

·        instructor will direct questions to each student in the morning and afternoon

Enrollment Cancellation Policy:

If a student wishes to cancel enrollment, a cancellation notice must be submitted in writing via email stating the reason for the cancellation and your AI account number to sbrockway@aiatlanta.org.

 

Enrollment Cancellation Fees:

·         Up to 15 days prior to the program start date, $25 cancel fee

·         3-14 days prior to the program start date, $50 cancel fee

·         Less than 3 days prior to the program start date, no refund will be provided

Virtual Education Exception

Please note that not all states have approved Virtual education, therefore, registrants MUST CHECK their individual states for approval BEFORE registering for the Program. Before registering for the Program, registrants understand and agree that continuing education credit for this program MAY NOT be available in their state on the date of the Program. The Appraisal Institute is not responsible if credit is not available for the Program in individual states. Please note: State exceptions for virtual education may expire PRIOR to the offering date.

State Credit

Please note that 100% attendance is required in order to receive any approved state credit or to be awarded AI CE points. It is imperative that you check with your state board for state approval information before completing registration.
