Notes

Virtual Classroom-Live/Interactive Participation Guidelines: Students must have webcam/iphone/ipad/smartphone capability to participate and receive continuing education credit. The platform will be interactive and live. The instructor must be able to physically see and interact with all students and students must be able see and interact with the instructor. A copy of your driver's license must be emailed to the Chapter office as verification after you have registered for the offering prior to the offering start date. You will receive a separate email from the Chapter Office with log-in/access information. Please contact the chapter office if you have any questions regarding the participation guidelines.

Experiences

Unless otherwise noted, the course price does not include a copy of the current USPAP edition, which is required for course credit. When the chapter does not include, participants must bring their own copy of the USPAP edition to class.

Additional Information

Tuition includes the downloadable copy of class materials.  Students may purchase a print copy of class materials for an additional fee at time of registration.  No class materials will be available at class

NOTE: Students are required to bring their own copy of the 2020/2021 USPAP Update book.  The USPAP book is separate from the class materials.  Students can purchase the USPAP book through the Appraisal Foundation, http://tafapp.advsolhosting.net/imis/TAF/Store/TAF/Products.aspx

Course Schedule: Sign-in 8:15 a.m. Class 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 100% Attendance is required for all Appraisal Institute education programs. Students should not be late or leave early. Those missing class times may not receive credit. Please review "Cancellation Policy".

Class Location: THIS CLASS IS NOW A VIRTUAL CLASS USING ZOOM MEETINGS.  YOU WILL NEED A COMPUTER WITH AUDIO AND VIDEO CAPABILITY TO ATTEND THE CLASS.  AFTER YOU REGISTER, A LINK TO JOIN THE ZOOM MEETING WILL BE SENT TO YOU A FEW DAYS BEFORE CLASS.

Cancellations/Refunds: Requests for cancellations must be received in writing at the Chapter office. Confirmed students should not assume that cancellation has been granted until a confirmation has been received. Please be sure to read "Cancellation Policy". Cancellation days are BUSINESS DAYS.

Cancel Fees
Up to 15 days prior to program start date, $25 cancellation fee.
7 - 14 days prior to program start date, $50.00 cancellation fee.
Less than 7 days prior to program start date, forfeit of payment.

The Bluegrass Chapter of the Appraisal Institute is not responsible for students' non-refundable airline reservations or other travel expenses. The Chapter reserve the right to cancel, limit, or reschedule the course and to change the faculty assignments and facility locations at any time. Prospective students should confirm their registration before making any non-refundable airline reservations.

Course Attendance: 100% attendance is required for all Appraisal Institute education programs. This follows Appraiser Qualification Board minimum criteria requirements.

·        students are required to be visible on the virtual platform during the entirety of the course

·        instructor will direct questions to each student in the morning and afternoon

Please note that not all states have approved Virtual education, therefore, registrants MUST CHECK their individual states for approval BEFORE registering for the Program. Before registering for the Program, registrants understand and agree that continuing education credit for this program MAY NOT be available in their state on the date of the Program. The Appraisal Institute is not responsible if credit is not available for the Program in individual states. Please note: State exceptions for virtual education may expire PRIOR to the offering date.

State Credit

Please note that 100% attendance is required in order to receive any approved state credit or to be awarded AI CE points. It is imperative that you check with your state board for state approval information before completing registration.
