In light of the current situation surrounding COVID-19, and in response to recent guidance from the Governor and the California Department of Public Health, a decision has been made to postpone this event. • Ample FREE parking is available onsite; the limited 3-hour parking signs DO NOT apply to students taking this offering
• Registrants should park in library's garage; enter garage off of Golden Gate Avenue

Course Materials and Hours
Onsite check-in will begin at 8:00a.m. on Monday, February 24. "Live" course instruction will run from 8:30am - 4:30pm February 24-26. On Thursday, February 27, instruction, review and Q&A will run from 8:30am until noon followed by personal study time until the 3-hour multiple choice exam is given at 2pm. Upon registration, participants will receive access to the downloadable course materials / handbook (unless the printed / shipped version is selected at the time of initial registration; additional fees apply.) Since Internet access cannot be guaranteed, it is highly recommended that you save these downloadable documents to a flash drive or to your hard drive prior to arriving onsite. If you would prefer hardcopy (printed) materials sent to you in advance, both a print fee of $45 and a shipping fee (TBD) apply. [Note: Shipping fee is calculated at the time of online check-out.] Need a Cup o' Joe to get your morning rolling? Be sure to stop and grab your coffee before arriving on site. Registrants will be on their own for refreshments and lunch daily.

Required Equipment
A financial calculator is required; the HP-12C calculator is the accepted model and is highly recommended. Students should bring paper and pen/pencil for taking notes. Laptops are not required; any students opting to bring laptops should bring their own extension cords / power strips as electrical may be limited. A No. 2 pencil is required for the exam.

Education Credit Hours and Attendance Verifications
Those who arrive late or leave early will jeopardize receipt of credit.

Appraisal Institute: Full attendance and successful completion of the course exam enables Appraisal Institute Designated Members, Candidates and Affiliates to receive 225 points; attendance only (no exam) 175 points. Partial credit is not available.

BREA Continuing: General Appraiser Income Approach / Part 1 is approved for 27-hours (#09754129) of BREA continuing education credit for licensed/certified appraisers seeking renewal credit. Full attendance (100%) is required. Successful completion of the exam is not required for BREA CEC.

BREA Qualifying Education: General Appraiser Income Approach / Part 1 is approved for 30-hours (#09754129) of BREA qualifying education toward initial licensing/certification with full (100%) attendance and successful completion of the course exam.

You will be asked to clear the calculator’s memory before and after the examination. Only one calculator is permitted in the testing room. Examinees taking most AI exams may bring their own calculator to use during the exam. Laptops, cellular phones, tablets, iPads, wearable technology (smart watch, Apple Watch, Google Glass, etc.), and other devices that can store data or connect to the Internet are NOT permitted during the exam. In addition, all watches, wallets, bags, and purses must be removed and stored out of reach prior to taking the exam.
