The class will be held at the Salt Lake Board of Realtors office in the Snowbird room: 230 W Towne Ridge Pkwy, Sandy UT. Registration will begin at 8:00am, Class will begin at 8:30am. You will have an hour on your own for lunch. Class will end at 3:30pm.

Course Attendance: One hundred percent (100%) attendance is required for all Appraisal Institute education programs. Credit and a course completion certificate can only be issued by attending 100% of the course. Please plan accordingly and be on time as late arrival or leaving early could jeopardize your receiving a certificate of attendance.

  • Reference Manual (116 pp.)  
Unless otherwise noted, the course price does not include a copy of the current USPAP edition, which is required for course credit. When the chapter does not include, participants must bring their own copy of the USPAP edition to class.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy • Up To 15 days prior to program start date, $10.00 cancellation fee • 7 - 14 days prior to program start date, $25.00 cancellation fee • Less than 7 days prior to program start date, forfeit of payment Cancellations/Refunds: Requests for cancellations must be received in writing at the chapter office. The Utah Chapter of the Appraisal Institute is not responsible for students' non-refundable airline reservations or other travel expenses. The Chapter reserves the right to cancel, limit, or reschedule the program and to change faculty assignments and facility locations at any time. The registration price for the 7-Hour USPAP Update course includes the student manual - but does NOT include the required USPAP book. EACH STUDENT NEEDS TO BRING THEIR OWN COPY OF THE 2020-2021 USPAP BOOK WHICH CAN BE PURCHASED THROUGH THE APPRAISAL FOUNDATION at the following address: https://www.appraisalfoundation.org/imis/TAF/Store/TAF/Products.aspx Per the Appraisal Foundation, a student can use an electronic copy of the USPAP Book on a laptop. However, each student must have their OWN copy. In other words, each student must have a device with a copy of the USPAP Book. Sharing a copy is not acceptable! If someone does not have a copy available at the class, they cannot receive credit and no registration refunds will be given. NOTE: There will NOT be any copies of the book available for purchase the day of the class so please come prepared with your own USPAP material (the 2020-2023 Edition). If using an electronic version, please make sure to have it downloaded before arriving!
