You will be asked to clear the calculator’s memory before and after the examination. Only one calculator is permitted in the testing room. Examinees taking most AI exams may bring their own calculator to use during the exam. Laptops, cellular phones, tablets, iPads, wearable technology (smart watch, Apple Watch, Google Glass, etc.), and other devices that can store data or connect to the Internet are NOT permitted during the exam. In addition, all watches, wallets, bags, and purses must be removed and stored out of reach prior to taking the exam.

Location:
This course will be held via live interactive classroom technology.
State Credit:
A course may NOT be approved in every state for every delivery
format. For example, some states do NOT allow any virtual
education. When registering for any
Appraisal Institute course, all participants will be required to check state
approvals based on delivery format. For more information, see our state approvals page.
Class Schedule:
Class begins each day at 10:00AM Central time (8:00AM Pacific, 9:00AM Mountain,
11:00AM Eastern). Each class runs for three hours and thirty-minutes (3.50)
each day with at least two breaks during that time. The course runs for
eight (8) half-days over two weeks as follows. Times shown are U.S. Central
(Chicago) time.

Log onto your AI Account at www.appraisalinstitute.org with the username
and password you used when you registered. Click on “Education and Events”
located on the right navigation menu. On the My Events page, find the
Synchronous course under the “Classroom Offerings/Synchronous
Offerings/Conferences” heading and click the "View" button. Scroll
down to the “Download Course Materials” section and click on each link to
download the course materials.
AI National Synchronous Participation Requirements:
• You must have a computer, webcam, and microphone capability to participate
and receive continuing or qualifying education credit where approved. It is
your responsibility to have the required equipment to participate and receive
credit. Visit the System Requirements for Attendees and Share Webcam pages for help.
• The instructor must be able to interact with all students. Instructors and
administrators will direct questions to each student in the morning and
afternoon to which students must respond. Students must be in a location that
allows for their full attention and interaction at all times.
• Attendance will be monitored throughout the day through webcams and polling.
You must turn on your webcam during roll call at the beginning of class so that
the instructor can verify your photo identification. Students with licenses in Connecticut, Maryland,
North Carolina, South Dakota or New York must keep their webcams on at all
times.

Connection Information:
Several minutes after you receive your Appraisal Institute receipt email, you
will receive second e-mail which includes instructions connecting to the
synchronous sessions. Connection e-mail reminders are re-sent 1 week, 1 day,
and 1 hour prior to synchronous session start time. If you do not receive the
connection information, please check your junk, spam, or quarantine folders. For

Cancellation Policy:
Up To 15 days prior to program start date, refund in full.
7 - 14 days prior to program start date, $100.00 cancellation fee.
Less than 7 days prior to program start date, forfeit of payment.

Data and that I will personally complete each assigned component of instruction
and any examination(s). I understand and agree that if I misrepresent my
identity or arrange for someone else to represent himself or herself as me at
any time during the Appraisal Institute online course or seminar, I will be
immediately removed from the course or seminar and I will not be entitled to
any refund. I further understand that if I am a Designated member, Candidate
for Designation, Practicing Affiliate, or Affiliate of the Appraisal Institute
and participated in any misrepresentation of identity, by affirmative act or
failure to act, I will be the subject of a peer review proceeding under
Regulation No. 6 for violation of the Code of Professional Ethics and Standards
of Professional Practice of the Appraisal Institute, and such peer review
proceeding may result in termination of my Appraisal Institute membership,
candidacy, and/or affiliation.

Livestream Education Exception Please note that not all states have approved Livestream education, therefore, registrants MUST CHECK their individual states for approval BEFORE registering for the Program. Before registering for the Program, registrants understand and agree that continuing education credit for this program MAY NOT be available in their state on the date of the Program. The Appraisal Institute is not responsible if credit is not available for the Program in individual states. Please note: State exceptions for livestream education may expire PRIOR to the offering date. State Credit Please note that 100% attendance is required in order to receive any approved state credit or to be awarded AI CE points. It is imperative that you check with your state board for state approval information before completing registration.
