This 2022-2023  7-hour update course, copyrighted by The Appraisal Foundation, focuses on recent changes to USPAP requirements for ethical behavior and competent performance by appraisers. The course, which clarifies several commonly misunderstood aspects of USPAP, will aid participants in all areas of appraisal practice seeking updated competency in USPAP, including those subject to state licensing or certification and continuing education requirements imposed by professional organizations, client groups, or employers.

Unless otherwise noted, the course price does not include a copy of the current USPAP edition, which is required for course credit. When the chapter does not include, participants must bring their own copy of the USPAP edition to class.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy 

• Up To 15 days prior to program start date, $15.00 cancellation fee 

• 3 - 14 days prior to program start date, $50.00 cancellation fee 

• Less than 3 days prior to program start date, forfeit of payment 

Cancellations/Refunds: Requests for cancellations must be received in writing at the chapter office. Confirmed students should not assume that cancellation has been granted until a confirmation has been received. Direct your email requests to: wcoastfl@tampabay.rr.com.

THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD VIA VIRTUAL INTERACTIVE CLASSROOM TECHNOLOGY.  STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A COMPUTER, WEBCAM AND MICROPHONE.  IT IS THE STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE THE REQUIRED EQUIPMENT TO PARTICIPATE AND RECEIVE CREDIT.  ZOOM access link will be emailed to student prior to the offering in separate email from registration confirmation.  You do not need a paid account from ZOOM to participate.  If you are using your Ipad/Iphone/smartphone please download the ZOOM app prior to offering.

Schedule

8:30 AM - 9 AM - Login and Roll Call  - Class will begin promptly at 9 AM

9:00 AM - 4:30 PM - Class instruction

30 minute lunch break at 12 Noon.

CE Credit:

You will receive a CE Certificate once you complete the online program evaluation located in your Chapter Portal which will be available for two weeks.

This live stream/virtual class is ONLY APPROVED IN FLORIDA by Region X and for Appraisal Institute continuing education credit.  If you are licensed in other states DO NOT REGISTER for this class – you will not receive any CE credit.

How do I access my CE Certificate After Completion?  New Attendance Verification Process 

Verified attendance certificates will be available within 15 working days by

  • Logging into My Account www.appraisalinstitute.org
  • Select EDUCATION
  • Click on the specific offering that you are seeking the certificate for; it will show REGISTERED
  • Scroll to the very bottom of the screen to (1) COMPLETE EVALUATION FORM and (2) RETRIEVE CERTIFICATE

- See list of your registered offerings, scroll to class name and select View

Disclaimer Information

Attendance: One hundred percent (100%) attendance is required for all Appraisal Institute education programs. This follows Appraiser Qualification Board minimum criteria requirements. Students should not be late or leave early. If you are late or leave early you will not receive credit. 

 • Attendance will be monitored throughout the day 

• Students are required to hold up photo ID at roll call, if requested 

• Students are required to be visible on the virtual platform during the entirety of the class 

• Instructors will direct questions to each student in the morning and afternoon 

 State Certification: Students should contact their specific state to determine current education approval and requirements. Please follow the link above under locations to verify certification in your state. Class Materials: You will receive the seminar material via separate email one week prior to class.
