Time:  Registration 8:00 am – Class begins 8:30 am – 5:00 pm  Each day

Course Materials: When you register through the Appraisal Institute, you will have the option to either download course materials (included in the registration price) or pay an additional fee to have a hard copy sent to you directly, prior to the course. No hard copies will be available at the course.


You must bring a financial calculator with you to class.  We recommend the HP-12C as this is the calculator that is covered in class.  You can bring a different financial calculator if you already know how to use it.  Only the operation of the HP-12C will be covered in class.  You may use a smart phone application for the class room examples, but you may NOT use a smart phone application during the exam. 


Food & Beverages:  For student, instructor, and employer convenience, a limited variety of refreshments and snacks are included in your registration fee and will be available for a.m. and p.m. breaks. In order to keep registration fees lower, lunch will be on your own for MAAO co-sponsored courses such as this one, so please plan accordingly.

 

This course has been approved for 30 hours of appraisal qualifying education credit by the Minnesota Department of Commerce.

You will be asked to clear the calculator’s memory before and after the examination. Only one calculator is permitted in the testing room. Examinees taking most AI exams may bring their own calculator to use during the exam. Laptops, cellular phones, tablets, iPads, wearable technology (smart watch, Apple Watch, Google Glass, etc.), and other devices that can store data or connect to the Internet are NOT permitted during the exam. In addition, all watches, wallets, bags, and purses must be removed and stored out of reach prior to taking the exam.
 

Cancellation Policy

Registration is fully refundable up to 7 days prior to the class.  Within 7 days of the class, there is a $30 cancellation fee.
