 $300 LAND TRUST ALLIANCE STIPEND AVAILABLE

The Land Trust Alliance is proud to partner with the Appraisal Institute to provide a $300 stipend for Appraisers who are interested in conducting appraisals for land conservation projects. This $300 stipend will be applied as a discount on their registration fee.

If you are interested, please email Jen Plowden (jplowden@lta.org) BEFORE REGISTERING with a brief description of your interest in using the skills acquired during this training to further the work of land conservation. She will provide you with a discount code to use at the time of registration. We will be unable to provide a discount after you have registered, so please be sure to email first if you’re interested in this stipend.

You will be asked to clear the calculator’s memory before and after the examination. Only one calculator is permitted in the testing room. Examinees taking most AI exams may bring their own calculator to use during the exam. Laptops, cellular phones, tablets, iPads, wearable technology (smart watch, Apple Watch, Google Glass, etc.), and other devices that can store data or connect to the Internet are NOT permitted during the exam. In addition, all watches, wallets, bags, and purses must be removed and stored out of reach prior to taking the exam.
 

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing and are subject to the cancellation fee below. Confirmed students should not assume that cancellation has been granted until a confirmation has been received.

•    To 15 days prior to program start date, 25.00 cancellation fee

•    7- 14 days prior to program start date, $25.00 cancellation fee

•    Less than 7 days prior to program start date, forfeit of payment.

Continuing Education Credit

This course is approved for 14 hours of appraiser CE credit in Massachusetts (Approval #120070), 15 hours (with exam) in Rhode Island (Approval #REA.0001812-CE) and 14 hours in ME ( Approval # 5C058). It is approved for 150 Appraisal Institute CE points; 200 with the exam.

APPRAISER QUALIFICATION HOURS & ATTENDANCE POLICY

The Appraisal Institute enforces attendance requirements mandated by state licensing and certification regulatory agencies. The Appraisal Institute issues certificates for state certification/licensing or state continuing education credit that verify successful completion and attendance of 100% with your grade notification letter. One hundred percent (100%) attendance is required for all Appraisal Institute education programs. Credit and a course completion certificate can only be issued by attending 100% of the course. Please plan accordingly and be on time as late arrival or leaving early could jeopardize your receiving a certificate of attendance. Makeup of missed sessions is not allowed.
