Important Items to Know / Understand Before Registering

·         Equipment and IDs: It is the student's responsibility to have the required equipment: Dependable Internet access, computer with webcam, microphone, and speakers. The instructor / monitor must be able to see / view students throughout the offering and the students must be able to view the instructor and/or the instructor's presentation. Most laptops have the webcam, microphones and speakers built-in.  As part of the required attendance monitoring for virtual classroom offerings, all students need to provide the Chapter Office with a copy of their Photo ID/Driver's License upon registering.

·         Virtual Classroom Education Credit:  If you are seeking credit for this offering from a state outside of California, check directly with your state licensing board(s) - before registering - to make sure that they will accept (1) virtual classroom credit and/or (2) credit from an out-of-state provider and / or (3) offer reciprocal CEC with California BREA approval.  However, we have heard that the following states may accept reciprocal credit: Washington, Alaska, Idaho, and Hawaii (there could be others); check directly with these states if applicable.  Use caution in relying on information that appears on websites as some states do not consider "virtual" classroom education equivalent to "classroom" education.  Applications are NOT being submitted to any states outside of California; not all states accept virtual classroom education.  Some states may have reporting requirements that the chapter cannot comply with.
