TOPIC:
Steve’s seminar
will focus on how appraisers can market their skill set to a diverse range of
potential clients. This includes prospecting potential clients, outlining
your skill set to a potential client and (critically) listening to and
discerning the needs (spoken and unspoken) of a client. Steve will
highlight the importance of staying in contact with a client throughout the
process to avoid “surprises” at the end, responding to feedback, and leaving
the door open for future work. Steve has a wealth of knowledge in this
area, and his success in developing clients has enabled him to diversify the
products and services he can offer. Steve’s seminar will include time for
questions/comments.
SPEAKER:
Steven R.

in New York, October 2014. While numerous professional organizations have based
their standards on common principles such as integrity, transparency and
trustworthiness, there was no over‐arching
standard to which all land, property, construction, infrastructure and related
professional organizations could subscribe. The global Coalition has now
published the International Ethics Standards, which consists of high level
principles which will be implemented by Coalition organizations worldwide, thus
providing greater consistency to users of professional services.
