Registered meeting attendees will receive an invite with the Zoom meeting login link, 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting. Attendees will need a reliable internet connection, computer, web camera, audio output, and microphone to fully participate in this meeting.  A smartphone will suffice, since this is not a continuing education program.  

The purpose of this meeting is to conduct 4th Quarter Region IX Committee business.  

MEETING TIME

Wed, October 27, 2021

• 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (Central)
• 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Eastern)

Plan to join the meeting 15 minutes early to ensure a successful Zoom login and prompt meeting start time.

Attendees:  Region IX Committee Members, Chapter Executive Directors, and Meeting Guests

 

Region IX Committee = Region Directors, Immediate Past Region Chair, Region Finance Officer, Chapter Presidents, Chapter Regional Representatives, and the Region IX Member on the National Government Relations Committee.

 

REGION MEETING ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Attendance Members:

Members serving in the following positions are required to attend Regional Committee meetings.

• Region Chair
• Region Vice Chair
• Third Region Director
• Immediate Past Region Chair
• Region Financial Officer  
• Chapter Presidents       
• Chapter Vice Presidents (if also serving as Regional Representative)
• National Government Relations Committee Member

If you are a Chapter President or Chapter Vice President, you are eligible to attend and vote by proxy IF you have an excused absence and there are no elected Chapter Alternates available to attend the meeting in your place. All other Mandatory Attendance Members are eligible to attend and vote by proxy if they have an excused absence.

 

Voluntary Attendance Members:

Members serving in the following positions on the Regional Committee are not required to attend Regional Committee meetings.

• Chapter Regional Representatives (except the President and Chapter VP)

 

If no elected Chapter Alternate Regional Representative can attend the Regional Committee meeting, regional representatives may attend and vote by proxy. An excused absence is not required for regional representatives.  Email sbrockway@aiatlanta.org for the proxy guidelines and proxy form.
