Oakland University Professor Tim Hodge Phd, will be speaking on “The Impact of Work from Home on Commercial Property: Values, Taxes, and Uses”.  In this presentation we will discuss the trends and future projections in work from home, and then discuss three primary components that are important regarding current and future trends in commercial property. We will look at adaptive re-use of existing space as market demands shift in the office, retail, industrial and residential/multi-family sectors.  Participants will share first-hand examples of adaptive re-use of existing space from their work experience as well as examples gleaned from press releases and other industry publications.
