Important Items to Know / Understand Before Registering

  • If you are seeking credit from a state outside of California, check with your state licensing board to make sure that it will grant approval for (1) an out-of-state virtual classroom offering, (2) accepts reciprocal credit if approved in the host state and/or (3) accepts offerings from an out-of-state provider prior to registering. This is a chapter-developed program; we are not submitting for credit from states outside of California.  However, we are hearing that more and more states are now accepting reciprocal credit; Washington, Alaska, Hawaii and Idaho may be amoung them; there could be others.  In addition, some states outside of California may have additional reporting requirements that the chapter is not able comply with.  There is NO examination required for this virtual offering.

  • Photo IDs.    As part of the required attendance monitoring for virtual classroom offerings, all students need to provide the Chapter Office with a copy of their Photo ID/Driver's License upon registering.  IDs need to be submitted even if you have attended a prior chapter-sponsored offering.

  • Diminution of Value
  • Remediation Cost and Lifecycle
  • Types and Extent of Contamination

Stay after our workshop and join us for a brief chapter meeting that includes presentation of designation certificates to newly designated members, awarding local cash scholarships and the Installation of our 2022 Leadership Team - plus receive an update on chapter, regional and national Appraisal Institute issues.  Active AI members will select their delegates to the chapter's 2023 Nominating Committee.  Then enjoy great company, feast on scrumptious "virtual" complimentary appetizers & beverages (yes, you prepare you own!) as you network with peers, friends and perhaps even prospective clients!

Those registered for the January 20th workshop do not need to register separately for the Chapter Business Meeting and Installation Celebration.

All are welcome to attend this first Chapter Meeting of the New Year!
