About this Virtual Presentation
SGMA UPDATE IN THE CENTRAL VALLEY
California’s Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) was signed into law in 2014, bringing with it monumental change in the way groundwater is managed in the state.

The deadline is fast approaching for water management agencies to provide completed sustainability plans.  Visit with us virtually as Herb Smart, from the Turlock Irrigation District, provides an update on how TID is coordinating their action plan with active community involvement.  Whether you practice in the California’s Central Valley or in other agriculture areas, this is a timely topic to learn how these issues are being addressed.

This will be a 1-hour informational (no-CEC) virtual presentation. CEC is not available.
