The class will discuss and treat various partial interest rights as well as other aspects of partial interests valuation. 



Some of the topics will be:


 


·         Prescriptive Easement/Adverse Possession


 


·         Legal Right to Access when No Physical Access Exists?


 


·         Preservation Easements: Permanent?, Specified Length, what Rights severed and what remain?


·         Power Lines, Trails and Corridors: Rail Crossing, Pipelines, Recreational Trails, Re-Purposed Right- of Ways


 


·         Life Estates: Whose Life is It and How Long is the Life?









CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT:


Seven (7) hours of Continuing education credit for this program has been approved by the Appraisal Institute(35 AI points) and seven (7) hours of CE with NYS.

Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Class size is limited due to social distancing.

Up To 15 days prior to program start date, refund in full. 8 - 14 days prior to program start date, $35.00 cancellation fee. 7 days prior to program start date, forfeit of payment. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. We reserve the right to cancel, limit, or reschedule the course and to change faculty assignments and facility locations at any time. Prospective students should confirm their registration before making any non-refundable airline reservations.
