11:30 followed by a presentation from 12:00pm – 2:00pm on Marine

Valuation and development by Gary DeClark, MAI, an expert in marina appraisal and valuation; and Bruce Lunde, engineer and owner of MarinaMan, LLC - and a nationally renowned marina and waterfront design and redevelopment professional. After the presentation, there will be a tour of Milwaukee Community Sailing Center and McKinley Marina. Stick around (separate registration required) for a two-hour boat cruise on the river and breakwater!  Approved for two hours of State appraiser and assessor CE.

Who this event is for:

1.       State- Licensed and Certified Real Estate Appraisers. This 2-hour CE offering is a great way to square up with one of our other annual 5-6 hour offerings, like Condemnation Symposium, or Year-In-Review.

2.       State certified assessors. Department of Revenue approved 2 hours Appraiser CE. This is a great way to learn from the best on industry standards in valuation and development as you navigate the discovery, listing and valuation of your marina properties.

3.       Public Land Use Planners and Building Inspectors, and stakeholders involved in marina development and waterfront redevelopment.

4.       Trainees and new-to-the-industry appraisers. This is a great opportunity to learn how fundamentals of real estate appraisal are applied to a special property type. Moreover, it is a great way to meet the “movers and shakers” that practice appraisal and valuation across the state. The social is a great way to meet appraisers, find a potential mentor, and/or get some great practical advice on the appraisal industry!
