ZOOM... Virtual Classroom-Live/Interactive Participation Guidelines: Students
must have computer, webcam & microphone capability to participate &
receive continuing education credit. The platform will be interactive and live.
The instructor must be able to physically see and interact with all students
and students must be able see and interact with the instructor. A copy of your
driver’s license must be emailed to the Chapter office as verification after
you have registered for the offering prior to the offering start date. You will
receive a separate email from the Chapter Office with log-in/access
information. You do not need a paid account from ZOOM to participate. If you
are using your Ipad/Iphone/smartphone please download the ZOOM app prior to
offering. Please check your webcam privacy settings on your computer. If you
have a Lenovo laptop, you must have the Lenovo Vantage App installed on your
computer for webcam to work. Check state approvals before registering to make
sure the states you are licensed have approved the course/seminar and allow

and their anticipated impact. Bifurcated/Hybrid appraisals will also be
discussed, as well as new technologies. Changes are coming; get ready

Tax Court Updates, Changes: Judge Sundar will discuss tax court issues & recent cases from
across the state. Her insight and
experience will be a great benefit to all.
Environmental Updates, Changes: Experts in their
field, the speakers will address current local environmental issues, including
those dealing with the Tidelands, Wetlands, and Pinelands.
About the Presenters
Eugene A. Soda, Jr. is Vice President of Valuation at
WSFS Bank. He is a Certified Residential Appraiser in
Delaware, New Jersey & Pennsylvania, with 36 years of appraisal
experience. Currently, Mr. Soda specializes in appraisal reviews, and is
also working towards the AI-RRS designation with the Appraisal Institute. WSFS Financial Corporation is a
financial services company. Its primary subsidiary, WSFS Bank, a federal
savings bank, is the largest and longest-standing locally managed bank and
trust company headquartered in Delaware and the Greater Delaware Valley.
Michael Lucey is a founding partner
of Water’s Edge Environmental and Water’s Edge Mitigation. Mr. Lucey
is a certified Professional Wetlands Scientist with extensive experience in
environmental consulting involving the management and supervision of environmental
departments and project oversight as a team leader. A graduate of the
University of Delaware, he has specialized experience in the design,
construction and management of wetlands mitigation projects including the
analysis of water budgets, vegetation selection and the administration of
contracts to ensure successful establishment and survival of mitigated wetlands
areas. Mr. Lucey has over 20 years of experience in the performance of
Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, general wildlife surveys, State
and Federal environmental permitting associated with commercial and residential
developments, waterfront development design and permitting, development
feasibility analyses, delineation of freshwater and coastal wetlands
boundaries, soils analyses and testing, habitat identification, environmental
impact statements, and AutoCad design.
Marnie
Niederhofer is Senior Biologist at
Water's Edge Environmental, LLC. Marnie is responsible for all phases of State
and Federal environmental permit applications associated with waterfront and
inland commercial and residential development. She has performed field
freshwater and coastal wetlands delineations for New Jersey Department of
Environmental Protection and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Pinelands
Commission. She is responsible for the preparation of NJDEP Tidelands License
and Grant Applications for residential development in coastal communities as
well as responsible for the preparation of Phase I Environmental Assessments in
accordance with ASTM Standards. Marnie performs general wildlife surveys, plant
surveys and endangered and threatened species surveys. Marnie has extensive
experience in the preparation of Compliance Assessment, Tidelands Evaluations
and Pre-purchase assessment for residential and commercial properties.
Mala
Sundar, P.J.T.C.
was appointed to the Tax Court by Gov. Chris Christie and took her oath on July
27, 2009. She was reappointed in June 2016 by Christie. She became the
presiding judge of the Tax Court on January 16, 2021. Prior to her judicial
appointment, she had joined the NJ Division of Law as a deputy attorney
general, representing state/governmental agencies on all taxation related
issues. She completed her career there as section chief for transportation. She
earned her law degree from Rutgers Law School in Camden.
