HOTEL RESERVATIONS

  • The 2021 Annual Conference will be held at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes. Please reference the "COVID-19 updates and what to expect at our hotel" link on their homepage for all COVID-related protocols. Masks are required in all public spaces. 
  • The AI has reserved a limited block of sleeping rooms at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes with the following rate:  Standard Guest Room: $135 + discounted resort fee $25 + local 12.5% tax. The group rate ends 7/16/21.
  • The resort fee covers several amenities including enhanced in-room wireless Internet for up to six devices, unlimited local and domestic long-distance calls, daily bike rental through Grande Lakes Sports, transportation to SeaWorld, Universal Studios and Disney theme parks, driving range privileges and daily recreational activities.
  • The hotel is offering a discount on nightly self-parking rates. Originally $30, Appraisal Institute's negotiated rate is $15. 
  • The JW Marriott Orlando is happy to provide Appraisal Institute attendees "Happy Hour" pricing in the JW Lobby Lounge and Whisper Creek Farm-The Kitchen. GENERAL TRAVEL INFORMATION

The Orlando International Airport (MCO) is located 10 miles from the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes. Drive time between the airport and the hotel is about 15 minutes one way. The hotel does not offer any type of shuttle service, however there is Mears Shuttle Service, Uber, Lyft, Wingz, and local taxis. CANCELLATION POLICY

If a registrant wishes to cancel registration, a cancellation notice must be submitted in writing via email to sbrockway@aiatlanta.org.

Cancellation Fees (for Meeting Guests)

  • Up to 7 days prior to the event, $5 cancel fee
  • Less than 7 days prior to the event, no refund will be provided


WAIVER

As you register for the Region Committee meeting and/or the Reception, please note that execution of the COVID-19 Liability Release Waiver (“Waiver”) is mandatory to attend the Appraisal Institute 2021 Region Committee meetings, the Region Reception and the AI Annual Conference.  The Appraisal Institute reserves the right to cancel any reservations if you do not agree to the terms of the Waiver or otherwise fail to properly deliver a fully executed Waiver.  It is your responsibility to ensure that the Waiver is signed and properly returned to the Appraisal Institute. Please sign and return the COVID-19 Liability Release Waiver before or immediately following your registration. Click below for the waiver.
