This half day virtual seminar will give insight into different aspects of the Cost Approach including site development costs and sitework issues and how they vary across the state; land planning, environmental issues and costs, and timing when addressing soil suitability and mitigation; construction and upfit costs and what they include; and the lender perspective that would discuss issues related to financing and what support they look for in a Cost Approach.

Instructors include: Andy Aldrige, Edifice; Adrian Marbry, Park National Bank; Christian Preziosi, Land Management Group; and David Swain, Swain & Associates. 

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Up To 14 days prior to program start date, $30.00 cancellation fee.
  • 7 - 13 days prior to program start date, $50.00 cancellation fee.
  • Less than 7 days prior to program start date, forfeit of payment.

Cancellation Clause
All cancellations must be submitted writing via e-mail at info@ncappraisalinstitute.org. Confirmed participants should not assume that cancellation has been granted until confirmation has been received. No refunds 7 days or less prior to event.

The North Carolina Chapter of the Appraisal Institute (NCAI) is not responsible for students' non-refundable airline reservations or other travel costs.

NCAI reserves the right to cancel, limit, or reschedule the program and to change faculty assignments and facility locations at any time. Prospective students should confirm their registration before making any nonrefundable airline reservations.

CE Credit Approval:

  • NC Appraisal Board (For Appraiser Credit) – 4 hours. NCAI will automatically upload your credits immediately following the course. 

*Students seeking CE Credit for states other than North Carolina are responsible for confirming with that state’s Appraisal Board that this course will be accepted. 

  • NCREC Credit (For Broker Credit) - 4 hours.

ACTION REQUIRED: Students will need to send a photo (ex: driver license photo) to executive.director@ncappraisalinstitute.org after registering for the seminar. Seminar instructors & NCAI staff/executive committee members will be verifying photo identification of students during roll call at the beginning and throughout the conference. This is a NCAB requirement and you will not receive credit if we do not have a photo to verify your identification with.

IMPORTANT: Our seminar instructors must be able to see you and you must be able to see the instructors. Zoom Meeting allows student/instructor interaction through the video and the chat function. This is a NCAB requirement and you will not receive credit if you do not have video capabilities to see the instructors/allow the instructors to see you.
