Seminar Materials and Hours
Online check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, August 7. Instruction will run from 9:00a.m. – 4:00p.m. and will be conducted using ZOOM as the interactive learning platform. There is no exam associated with this CE offering. (Pacific Time). Mini-breaks and a Lunch Break will be scheduled during the day. Materials (if applicable) will be available for download via a special link sent from the Northern California Chapter Office; these materials are not available in your Appraisal Institute My Account. By registering for this offering, you agree that your attendance may be monitored and that you will forward your DL/ photo ID to the Northern California Chapter in advance via email.

This class will be held via Interactive Technology (ZOOM). It is the student's responsibility to have the required equipment - Internet access, computer, webcam and microphone. Some registrants may find a secondary device (ipad, phone, laptop or desktop computer) helpful during instruction.

Education Credit Hours and Attendance Verifications
Those who check into the interactive platform late, leave early or leave during non-scheduled breaks may jeopardize receipt of credit. Webcams must remain on throughout the offering.
Appraisal Institute: Full attendance (100%) enables Designated Members and Practicing Affiliates to receive 30 AI CEC points.
BREA Continuing: The Residential Symposium 2020 has been approved by the California BREA for 6-hours of CEC (#20CP754601432). Licensed/certified appraisers seeking BREA CEC must meet the 100% attendance requirement. [Note: This particular offering is based on the "live" version that falls under the temporary exemption for virtual / online education due to COVID / SIP restrictions.]
BREA Basic/Qualifying: The Residential Symposium 2020 is not approved for BREA qualifying education (QE) credit.
State Board of Equilization: The Residential Symposium 2020 is approved for 6-hour of SBE training credit (CAR #101992) for property tax assessors.

Written cancellations received by Friday, July 24, are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after that time but prior to noon on Friday, July 31, are subject to a $40 cancellation fee. No refunds for cancellations received after Friday, July 31 or for seminar "no shows". All cancellations are subject to a non-refundable $25 material fee.
