SEMINAR DESCRIPTION:
This webinar will feature expert presentations and discussions about the current context of water law and valuing water in real estate appraisals. Speakers will discuss how water rights and water-wise development strategies impact the value of real estate, and why this is important for the future of water-wise built environments and communities.
Topics Include:
Water rights and water laws in the US
Water quantity, quality, and legal protections in the southeast US
Water-wise development practices and how they influence property values
Return on Investment of water-wise real estate practices
How best to appraise water-wise real estate

You do not need a paid account with ZOOM to participate. You will receive a separate email from the Region Office with log-in/access information. If you are using your iPad/iPhone/smartphone please download the ZOOM app prior to offering.
If you are not familiar with Zoom, please review a few video tutorials nancy@aiohio.org as verification after you have registered for the offering prior to the offering start date, but no later than the start of class. Only your name and photo are needed. Please feel free to redact any personal information before sending.
Only those students who provide the photo identification and “properly and fully attend” the program in its entirety will receive a certificate of completion. This event IS like an in-person classroom setting and the same rules apply. Attendance will be taken at various times throughout the event via video monitoring, the chat box, and other means.
Check state approvals before registering to make sure the states you are licensed have approved the seminar and allow synchronous/livestream education in place of classroom education.
