CONTINUING EDUCATION & ATTENDANCE POLICY

The Appraisal Institute, and the GA Real Estate Appraisers Board, have approved 4 hours of continuing education for the " Regional & Local Verification Requirements for Yellow Book, USPAP, State Regulations & Various Clients."  100% attendance is required for credit. We have applied for South Carolina 4 hours CE credit.


INSTRUCTOR:

Jeff Miller, MAI, AI-GRS, Partner, Valbridge Property Advisors, Atlanta, GA

Jeff is a member of the Appraisal Institute with the MAI designation, a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), and a member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). In addition, he holds the Appraisal Institutes’ Litigation Certificate and has the AI-GRS designation, which is commercial reviewer designation. He previously served as the President of the Atlanta Chapter of the Appraisal Institute in 2012, and served on the Board of Directors from 2009 to 2015. Jeff has extensive experience in valuing a broad range of property types throughout the United States, and has managed valuation projects in North America, United Kingdom, Asia, and the Caribbean. Assignments have been completed for a variety of purposes including lending, estate planning, eminent domain, bankruptcy proceedings, litigation support, and acquisition/disposition. Jeff has qualified as an expert witness in numerous courts in the State of Georgia and in Federal Bankruptcy Court.  Jeff’s instructor experience includes:  7 Hour Seminar “Analyzing Credit Tenant Risk and Commercial Lease Analysis” for Appraisal Institute Chapters in 2011 in: Atlanta, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Columbus, Ohio, North Carolina, and Washington State and “7 Hour Update Uniform Standards for Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP)” in Atlanta December 2014, December 2015, January 2016, Columbia, SC in February 2016, and Callaway Gardens, GA in April 2016, and in Savannah, GA in May 2016. Instructor for 15 Hour USPAP in Atlanta in April 2016 and March 2017.
