I currently serve as 2026 President of the Northern California Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. After more than 40 years in the appraisal profession, I am now semi-retired but remain active in select assignments. I work part time with my son, Joshua Daniel, SRA, who now runs the firm. My background includes private practice, bank appraisal management, teaching, litigation support, and expert witness testimony. I also served for 13 years as a state-appointed Probate Referee, including two terms as President of the California Probate Referees Association, and from 2006 to 2018 I served as Vice Chair of the Monterey County Assessment Appeals Board.
