This seminar examines reserve studies within the context of Florida’s condominium safety legislation, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac requirements, and their growing relevance in residential appraisal practice. Participants will learn how reserve studies can serve as an important interpretation and risk-analysis tool when evaluating condominium properties, deferred maintenance, and financial stability. The course is also designed for appraisers interested in expanding into reserve study and reserve specialist work, providing practical insight into component analysis, funding methodologies, reporting structure, and the role reserve studies play in today’s lending and valuation environment.
