Course Description: The "Florida Appraisal Laws and Rules: Advanced" course is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the legal and regulatory framework governing real estate appraisers in Florida specific to the nature of complaints. This course emphasizes the nuanced nature of the administrative complaint process, recognizing that while knowledge of the law comes from experience, true understanding requires applying concepts. It aims to equip appraisers with the knowledge and skills needed to understand the complaint process effectively and to recognize the importance of upholding professional standards. By focusing on practical applications including case studies, the course helps build comprehensive knowledge of the complaint process, legal terms, rights, and disciplinary proceedings as handled by the Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board (FREAB). SouthState Bank Winter Haven Operations Center 1951 8th Street NW Winer Haven, FL 33881 (building is behind the RaceTrac in the same parking lot) Reserved the Flagler Innovation and Edison Innovation rooms (they open to one big room that holds around 50 people). November 6, 2025, from 1pm-5 pm. They will go to the door on said day and must be buzzed in and check in at the desk and will be directed from there.
