Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS: Up to 15 days prior to program start date, a $5.00 cancellation fee will be applied to all requests for cancellation. Between two and 14 days prior to program start date, a $10.00 cancellation fee will be applied to all requests for cancellation. Less than two days prior to program start date, no refunds will be given.

SEMINAR TOPICS:

·       Speaker Barry Jones, biologist with HELIX Environmental Planning, Inc. will guide a hike through biologically sensitive habitat. Habitat consists of oak woodland, coastal sage scrub, chaparral, and riparian woodland habitats. Focus of presentation to be identifying sensitive habitat and the associated endangered species. Additional tour of an archaeological sites consisting of grinding rocks used by the Kumeyaay Indians for food preparation.

·     During and after lunch, Mr. Jones will speak about appraisal needs associated with mitigation and conservation as well as the development process associated with obtaining approvals from the federal and state Fish and Wildlife agencies.

ENROLLMENT: Enrollment is on a first-come, first served basis. If the event is filled, a waiting list will be retained. The San Diego Chapter reserves the rights to cancel, limit, or reschedule this event if the minimum enrollment level is not reached, and to change faculty assignments and facility locations at any time.
