The Kansas City Chapter of the Appraisal Institute is pleased to welcome Chase Johnson of Port KC to provide an update on local development projects. Chase brings over a decade of experience in planning, urban redevelopment, and real estate, and currently oversees the successful execution of real estate development projects for Port KC. Previously, he served as an Urban Planner and Development Specialist for the City of Kansas City, Missouri, where he managed a range of planning, transportation, redevelopment, and P3 initiatives. His earlier experience includes work in commercial real estate in Fort Worth, Texas, and time as a professional athlete with the San Diego Chargers and Carolina Panthers. Chase holds a Bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University and a Master’s in Regional and Community Planning from Kansas State University. Lunch: Salad and assorted sandwiches. $30 per person.
